Makai is a modern, elevated, Outer Banks vacation escape! With two levels, 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, a pool and hot tub, this home is the ideal spot to savor everything the Outer Banks has to offer! Located in Southern Shores, you can appreciate the empty beaches and peaceful neighborhood with the convenience of a fast drive to Kitty Hawk in the South or Duck to the North. Our family friendly home is exactly what you are looking for!
The space
Upon entering you will enjoy the modernized touches, natural lighting and updates throughout. The open concept living, dining and kitchen area provides space to gather all together as a family, without feeling busy. Off of the living room, you will fall in adore with the master bedroom, featuring a king-sized bed and private bath with upsized shower. The top floor also features (2) Queen Bedrooms that share a Full Bath. On the lower level you will find a media room, ideal for movie nights with the family or rainy days. There is a King Bedroom and Bedroom with a Bunk Bed also on this level, and a Full Bath.
Guest access
Beach Access - Guests will be included with beach parking passes to the neighborhood beach access down the street.
Entry - Guests will access the home through a key pad code on the door. Code will be supplied at check in.
There is a pool in the backyard for guests to use! The pool will be open 4/14-9/28. We service the pool and hot tub weekly to maintain safety standards. The hot tub will be open and serviced year round.
PLEASE NOTE: The fireplace is not available for guest use.

Kitty Hawk is home to this vacation home. Glazin' Go-Nuts and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Nor'Banks Sailing and Children at Play Museum. Paradise Fun Park and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf are also worth visiting.
