Step into our airy open concept apartment with ocean vistas and tons of natural light.

The living room has vaulted ceilings, ocean vistas, and includes a huge over-sized sectional, mid century modern TV stand, and a sizable TV with Netflix, Disney Plus and Amazon Video.

The dining room includes seating!

The kitchen is completely equipped with stainless steel refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all dishes/cookware.

The bedroom offers ocean vistas and includes a memory foam bed, plush linens, and a dresser w/mirror.

The bathroom is newly refreshed with tons of natural light.

The deck offers expansive ocean vistas and outdoor seating!

In the shed you will have access to beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler!

This is an upper level apartment there is an Airbnb apartment below you but this is completely separate then your apartment.

You will have full access to your private apartment, and the shed with beach gear!

I live just down the street and are available any time via phone or text or Airbnb App. Please do not hesitate to reach out for anything you may need! We respect the fact that you are on vacation and really like to give our guest as much privacy as possible. That being said we are here if you need us at any point :)

All of our neighbors look out for one another. A few of them are short term units hosts as well so you are surrounded by a great group of locals and it is extremely safe.

PLEASE NOTE: this apartment is not ocean front but has ocean vistas. It is located on one of the tallest parts of the island. The home is extremely close to the ocean just mins. away to a public beach access with complimentary parking :) We do recommend driving vs walking so you don't have to carry the beach gear we provide across a busier summer road. The ocean is just a few blocks away. There are two Airbnb apartments below yours that are completely separate.

About the Area

Located in Kitty Hawk, this apartment is near the beach. Children at Play Museum and Paradise Fun Park are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop. Destination Fun and Nor'Banks Sailing are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Kitty Hawk area. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is an excellent way to save on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses.   • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited.   • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to drive future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
