Distinctive appointments include wood in the top level great room, kitchen with granite countertops, ceramic tile in the baths and fresh new soft carpet in the bedrooms. Two king masters offer adults the privacy of their own bathroom. Intelligent TV's are placed throughout the home for everybody to have access to their streaming accounts and movies. The ground level rec room has a pool table and wet bar, with access to the patio leading to the pool area. Located in Kitty Hawk, between the highways, this spot is great for walking, running, cycling, and appreciating a time gone by in peaceful, cozy Kitty Hawk beach. “The Salty Sailor” is at the north end of Kitty Hawk, with painless access and a short drive to groceries, shopping and eateries.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a modest fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Glazin' Go-Nuts and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Fort Raleigh National Historic Site and Island Farm. Finding the best rental value:

  • To find the best value, try changing your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Kitty Hawk vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • In the Kitty Hawk area, The earlier you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
