When you're not appreciating the short walk to the sandy beach, this cavernous home will provide you and your family a comfortable hideaway. Located between the highways, this three-level Kitty Hawk home has charming ocean vistas from the top-level sun deck. Appreciate your morning coffee watching the sunrise or afternoon drink as you listen to the ocean waves. Everyone can appreciate a meal together in the dining area and the prepare's favorite feature on this floor will be the open kitchen, which includes additional seating at its island bar. Step out onto the sun deck and savor the magnificant view of the ocean. Take advantage of the elevator that accesses all levels so no need to carry your bags or groceries up the stairs. If you're not playing on the beach, make a splash in the private pool and end the day by calming in the hot tub, reconnecting, and enjoying the simple pleasures of being together. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.
