There is a impressive bay front walking path that is about a 5 min. walk from the home where you can appreciate handsome sunsets in the evening!

CHECKIN & CHECKOUT

- CHECKIN: is at 4:00 PM. If our cleaners finish early we will send you the check in information as soon as the home is ready. There is no guarantee of an early check in nor can we give you a specific time.

- CHECKOUT: is at 10:00 AM. Unfortunately in order to get the home ready for the next guest in time we are unable to accommodate any late check outs. In addition our cleaners do charge infraction costs if they need to wait on guests to leave past 10:00 AM

HOW FAR IS THE BEACH?
The beach is about three blocks from the home so it is definitely within walking distance, however, we always recommend driving as you do have to cross one busier street. There are multiple complimentary parking beach accesses within a 2 min. drive. Also, we provide beach chairs so it is a bit easier to take everything to the beach via car!

IS THERE A GRILL?
Unfortunately No. Due to wing we do not allow grilles.

- Any additional items you may need that we do not provide
- Laundry detergent, bleach, dryer sheets and or anything you need for washer and dryer.

About the Area

Located in Kitty Hawk, this vacation home is near the beach. Paradise Fun Park and Children at Play Museum are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Scarborough Lane Shoppes and Outer Banks Mall. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to book & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Booking in Fall or Spring months is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses.   • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
