Get away and appreciate a calming vacation on Kitty Hawk Bay in this sound front stunner. Our home has 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths and has been completely remodeled. Free secured wifi access is supplied. Our home is pet and smoke complimentary. Our home is not suited for events or events.
Enter the 1st floor through many different doors on the wrap around porch. The main entrance takes you into a brand new, completely supplied for 16 guests, chef's kitchen with counter eating space and sizable eat in area. The first floor features water vistas through double sliding doors in the kitchen and family room, bringing the outdoors inside. The family room is two story with a floor to ceiling brick fireplace and deck access to sizable outdoor seating area. Sit and savor the osprey and other water fowl early morning feeding. A completely refreshed master bedroom with king bed, and bath are located on the first floor. Master bath is new with double vanities, private water closet, glass enclosed steam shower with rainfall shower head and water view. 2nd bedroom, fresh paint and new carpet, has queen bed, huge closet space and new full hall bath with tub/shower. 2nd floor has enormous loft area overlooking family room with water view, 2 cavernous bedrooms and completely modernized full bath with double vanity. Bedroom 3 has new carpet and paint, 2 full beds, TV with DVD player and private sun deck. Bedroom 4 has 1 king bed, new paint and carpet and water view. The ground floor is great for kids and teens. A huge bunk room with 4 sets of bunk beds (8 twin beds) is attached to a 2019 updated full bath and game room containing a 50' flat screen TV with cable TV, foosball table and access to outside tiki bar. Climb the stairs to the sun bathing balcony complete with lounge chairs to see a handsome view of the Albemarle Sound.
The home is really extraordinary, but the property is what makes this home stand out from all the others! It is located on a large manicured lawn with private access to your own 275 ft 2 story pier stretching out into the Kitty Hawk Bay. The sound is shallow water, safe for kayaking, canoeing, fishing and crabbing. We provide kayaks, a canoe, 2 stand up paddle boards for your enjoyment. Bring your own boat or jet skis. There is a public boat ramp right down the road to launch your water craft and then keep it docked at the end of the pier for your entire vacation! Crab traps are included to catch a fresh dinner for your family to enjoy together that evening. Crab pot is included as part of the entirely outfitted kitchen! A private outdoor shower with rainfall shower head and dressing room is located on the ground level for a exhilarating shower after a day at the beach or on the water.
A pretty cycling/running trail begins at the end of the driveway. We have 2 beach cruiser bicycles for your enjoyment. Ride the path to Capt'n Franks for the best meal on the beach, other stores, mini golf or the beach! White Street Beach is a short walk, bicycle or drive from Sounds Ideal. White Street is a private beach with impressive white sand and tons of shells for the beach comber. Many pieces of precious sea glass have also been found by the avid collector. Beach chairs, umbrella and sand toys are supplied for your use.

Our home is located on MP5 in Kitty Hawk. Only 5 mins. from the Wright Memorial bridge which makes for simple Saturday check-in. We ask that you arrive after 4pm and check out by 10 am.
