How far is the beach?
The beach is just a few blocks away from the home so it is definitely within walking distance, however, we always recommend driving as you do have to cross one busier street. There are multiple complimentary parking beach accesses within a 2 min. drive. Also, we provide 2 beach chairs, 1 cooler, and an umbrella so it is a bit easier to take everything to the beach via car!

Is There A Grille?
Unfortunately No. The Outer Banks can often times be windy and each year many people on the beach lose their homes due to grille related home fires. For this reason and safety reasons we do not have a grille at our home. :(

Do you have a tea pot?
Unfortunately No :/ But the Keurig can brew a cup of hot water for you to steep tea in!....

We live next to some impressive neighbors who look out for each others home. It is extremely safe and peaceful here. There are only homes on one side of the street making it very peaceful and calming vs other areas in the Outer Banks.

Located in Kitty Hawk, this apartment is by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Kitty Hawk Woods Reserve, while Glazin' Go-Nuts and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids? Consider Children at Play Museum, or check out an event or a game at Full Throttle Speedway. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Get the most from your rental budget:

• Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Summer is the most expensive season in Kitty Hawk. To get the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Kitty Hawk vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
• Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
