This haven invites you to experience the epitome of beachside living. The Hale Honu brings a little Hawaiian feel to the charming Kitty Hawk coast.

Indulge in the four bedrooms thoughtfully designed by "Retro Revival Designs", each adorned with hand-picked decor and furnishings. Wake up to ocean vistas on the second floor, bask in natural light streaming through the windows, and find your sanctuary in a space designed for comfort.

Bathroom Elegance:

The two full bathrooms are outfitted with shampoo and body wash, complete with refreshed fixtures, comfortable design, and the allure of oceanside serenity. The half-bathroom adds convenience for everybody's use and ensures that your morning routine is seamless and anxiety-complimentary.

Main Floor Magic:

The main floor is a enchanting fusion of functionality and style. The kitchen, equipped with updated appliances and adorned with coastal accents, invites you to channel your inner chef. The adjacent living room, with its comfortable furnishings and retro-themed decor, provides an intimate space to relax.

The Primary Bedroom is located on the main floor with an en-suite bathroom.

The living and dining room doors and windows connect the indoor and outdoor spaces providing a glimpse of your backyard getaway.

Appreciate your early morning coffee and tea on the back deck listening to the sound of the waves.

Second Floor Living:

Savor game nighttime or a movie with the family in the sizable and cozy 2nd floor living area. A huge and cozy sectional is also a queen size pull-out sleeper couch for your guests or a fun slumber event for the kids!

Local Charms:

There are so many fun adventures, shopping, and of course beaches just steps or a short drive away. Kitty Hawk beach, less than 5-min. walk from the home is pet-friendly and handsome. After a day at the beach, take a walk and dine at local eateries just a few blocks away.

THINGS TO KNOW

A lease is required to be executed to book this property with each guest's full name.

Must be 25 and up to book this property.

Pet/Animals attending during your stay total weight should not exceed 100 lbs. of total weight, unless agreed upon. Please message for more details. Family Pets should be able to be left home alone without causing damage to property. Please crate your pets if left unattended in the home. Crates available for use at the property.

There are security cameras located around the exterior of the home.
1. Camera located facing driveway
2. Camera located under home facing main carport
3. Camera on the North side Pool entrance covering side of home and Hvac utilities
4. Camera located upstairs main patio back corner of home facing both main entrance and back entrance.

Please do not touch/remove or use wall decor.

Pool is open mid-April through mid-October. The pool is unavailable for use from Mid-October through mid-April once it has been winterized.
*Exact open and close dates are weather dependent. Please verify the status if you are booking near the beginning or end of these times.

NO SWIMMING when pool is shut down for the season.

Clean linens supplied on all beds. Towels included for each guest: one each of a bath towel, face towel, and hand towel. During prime season (May-Sept) a beach towel will also be included for each guest.

STRONGLY recommend to purchase travel insurance when booking your stay. We follow a STRICT cancellation policy and do not refund due to inclement weather.

For bookings starting at the beginning of June to end of August, a 7-day minimum stay is required: Saturday to Saturday bookings only.

HOME RULES

Must Be 25 and older to Reserve this House. Non-family groups NOT allowed without prior permission. (No chaperoned or unchaperoned groups, fraternities, school, or civic groups allowed). Lease required to book. All guests staying must be named and stated on the lease. NO PARTIES AT THIS LOCATION.

Pool Rules:
POOL IS SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK! Kids and pets must be supervised at ALL times. It is your responsibility to ensure all pool access gates are closed and latched.

NO FOOD or DRINKS or FAMILY PETS inside the pool.

All guests must shower before entering pool.

Quiet hours are 10 pm - 7 am during the week and 11 pm - 9 am on weekends.

Pet Rules:

Keep pets off furnishings and beds. Dog beds are supplied.

Clean up after your pet. Poop bags are supplied.

Rinse off sandy coats and paws (and dry them) before entering the home.

HVAC:
Please keep windows and doors shut if HVAC is on.

Shoes are not allowed in the home to protect the wood floors and floor coverings. Please use the shoe caddy by the front door and knock off sandy feet before entering the home.

This home is protected by a security camera system. Cameras shall not be disabled or blocked. Bookings may be terminated by the host if security cameras are tampered with.

Kitty Hawk is home to this vacation home. Children at Play Museum and Paradise Fun Park are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Outer Banks Beaches and Kitty Hawk Woods Reserve. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop are also worth visiting.
