If you've been thinking that your family needs a calming beach vacation, we know just the place! Your family will appreciate Turtle's Nest—a classic Kitty Hawk beach box with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and plenty of Outer Banks appeal! On top of the ocean vistas from your crow's nest, you'll also savor a short walk (5-min./0.2-miles) to the nearest beach access on Balchen St.
There are two driveways and a carport beneath each side of the home providing plenty of parking space. A modest laundry room downstairs contains a washer and dryer. Before coming inside after a fun day of splashing in the waves, you can conveniently rinse off in the outdoor shower. Pick up a few burgers at the grocery store and throw them on the charcoal grille for an simple summer cookout!
Walk into the cavernous great room with comfortable furnishings, nautical touches and plenty of natural light shining in through the enormous windows and sliding deck doors. The living area is located around a 60” Enormous Screen TV/DVD making it painless for everybody to gather together for a family movie nighttime. Both beginner and experienced chefs alike will appreciate the gourmet kitchen with elegant white cabinets, black countertops, modern stainless-steel appliances, dual sinks and a wine cooler. The kitchen bar seats 3—ideal for a fast snack! When it comes time for a formal sit-down family dinner, there is additional seating in the adjoining dining area for 6-8. The dining area also features access to the sun deck with a picnic table for dining outdoors on those cool, summer evenings. Utilizing the convenient “H” floorplan, you'll find 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on both sides of the main living area, each decorated with bright colors and coastal finishes. You'll have the sweetest of dreams in one Queen Bedroom with "sea blue" walls to promote ultimate serenity. A second Queen Bedroom is a bit brighter utilizing shades of blue, sage green, and royal purple and enjoys direct deck access. A third Queen Bedroom also has deck access and takes on a light and fun approach with coral-colored walls and decor. The final bedroom contains 2 Twin Beds featuring a Pirate ship theme that the kids are sure to appreciate!
