Come appreciate this original outer banks beach bungalow. We have a completely outfitted kitchen where you can prepare your family meals. This bungalow features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms - a total of 2 Queen Beds and 4 Twins.

We have high speed Wi-Fi, a 55 inch intelligent TV, off street parking and yes, we are pet friendly!

We are located just across the street from a amazing beach.

The space
The main, or master bedroom features a queen size bed as well as a twin bed. The second bedroom features a Queen bed and the third bedroom or kid's room features 3 twin beds.


This Original Beach Cottage, having been constructed in the 1960's, is refreshed with Central Heat/AC, and has everything needed to savor a fantastic beach vacation. Parking is directly in front of the bungalow and there is a lockbox on the unit so that you can check yourself in and out.


We are located "between the highways" as it's called here on the island, however we are the second home from the water. It will take you less than one min. to walk to the beaches.


Even with a thorough modernization, the property is a historical home that is now over 70 years old. It has some eccentricities that reflect building standards and designs from the turn of the last century that lends to its appeal as an older beach bungalow. Our bathrooms are not as sizable as modern constructed, even so, we hope that you will adore our older and striking home.

Guest access
There is a lockbox on the unit. You can check yourself in and out. 



Pet Fee is $99 per pet per stay.


If not disclosed prior to your stay, the pet fee is $300 


Animals must be home trained and stay off of linens and furnishings 


An Extra Cleaning fee of $99 will be charged to remove pet hair from linens or furnishings

Quiet hours begin at 9 PM.  This is a Family/Residential unit and area.  No loud music or noise. 


If you lose your key, please contact us and if possible we can provide another one for you.  However, if we are not available, please contact a locksmith.  We do not have a "front desk" - we are a family run business and will try to accommodate you if possible.

About the Area

Located in Kitty Hawk, this cottage is near the beach. Children at Play Museum and Sea Scape Golf Links are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Scarborough Lane Shoppes and Outer Banks Mall. Paradise Fun Park and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Kitty Hawk area. To get the most suitable rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Kitty Hawk restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Some property managers offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.

  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.

If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
