Sweet Tea is a classic Outer Banks 1950's oceanfront beach bungalow located directly on the beach in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. In restoring the bungalow, we have lovingly saved her timeless beauty and refreshed her with modern-day amenities. You MUST see to savor. And the beach and ocean are literally in your back yard . . . just walk down the porch steps and you're there. You don't get any closer than this!!
Sweet Tea bungalow features an open living area with an oceanfront wall of windows maximizing the gorgeous vistas. Classic tongue-and-groove paneling throughout, impressive hickory wood and ceramic tile floor, tons and tons of natural light, and ocean vistas from every room. The living room features comfortable seating, a huge flat screen TV and ceiling fan. Adjoining the living area is the dining room with ample seating overlooking the sun deck, beach and Atlantic ocean. Savor your morning coffee watching the dolphins play in the surf and the sun rise on the Atlantic . . . you'll never want to get out of your PJ's.
The well equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, refrigerator with filtered water and ice on the door, bespoke cabinetry, gorgeous quartz counter tops . . . and just about everything you need to prepare your favorite meals and entertain. Extending the living area is an oceanfront sundeck where you can catch some rays and watch the dolphins play in the surf. Appreciate evening beverages sitting in the tall adirondack chairs watching the pelicans soar over the ocean, or perhaps move to the front covered porch and appreciate the westerly breezes as the sun goes down. SOOO calming! Sweet Tea bungalow offers three bedrooms and sleeps 6 comfortably (4 adults, 2 kids) with one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and one bedroom with two twin beds . . . all with vistas of the ocean. Don't let the one bathroom concern you as you'll want to take all your showers outdoors in the private, enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water. The bungalow also features a laundry room with stackable washer and dryer, ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living room, and central heat and air.
Sweet Tea is located in Kitty Hawk within a short drive to many local eateries, shopping and attractions and walking distance to Ocean Boulevard Bistro & Martini Bar and Art's Place (a true "diner & dive" known for the best burger on the beach!). Enjoy spectacular shelling, surf fishing, sun bathing, surfing, swimming, kayaking, cycling . . . and so much more. Your family will remember the memories you make at Lemonade for generations to come!

* Cottage accommodates 4 Adults and 2 kids.
* Linens are not supplied with this rental, therefore, you will need to bring sheets and pillow cases (1 king, 1 queen, and 2 single beds). All of the beds have quilts and pillows. You will also need to bring bath, hand, wash, dish and beach towels. HOWEVER, if you do not wish to bring your own there are numerous companies that rent linens and will deliver and pick them up directly to and from the bungalow.
