Welcome to our condo. My wife and I have been hosts on Airbnb for 7 years as we also host the unit below this one in unit 206. This unit is oceanfront and the building sits 100 feet from the beach. The vistas are spectacular.
We are located 3/4 of a mile from some of the best eateries, it's an painless 10-15 min. walk. The other end of duck is about 2 miles, so it makes for a great walk, there is also plenty of parking if you don't want to walk. Tons of shopping, a boardwalk, eateries, coffee stores, ice cream and fishing that you can walk to everyday. The town is simple to fall in adore with. There are nice bicycle paths and walking paths through the town of Duck.
This condo has been completely refreshed in the last 2 years. It's 684 sq ft. It has an oceanfront deck view that is a great place to sit and appreciate your morning coffee. There will be times that you will see dolphins from your deck. The living room has a intelligent TV and is comfortable for 4 people. There is a queen size pullout couch. The kitchen is completely supplied and updated. The master has a kingsized bed and a full master bath.
You could not ask for a better location with spectacular vistas. Watch the dolphins from the kitchen, living room or enlarged deck. Great space for a peaceful relaxing vacation.
You will need to bring your own sheets, pillow cases, towels and any other linens you may need.... or order them through Atlantic units or Moneys Worth Beach Units. I understand this is unlike most other airbnb spaces but, this is the norm in the outer banks. Most people choose to bring their own linens.
All of the condo is yours to use, savor it. Please feel complimentary to share your opinions and ideas of other things that we may need or could do to make it an even better experience. The day before your arrival I will send you the code for the door and the combination to the supply closet.
you will have my cell # when you receive your check in information
When it comes to linens, you have 2 choices, you can bring your own which most people do or you can rent linens locally from Atlantic Units or Moneysworth beach units. Both companies will deliver and pickup your linens. Atlantic beach units and moneys worth beach units are two companies that I recommend. There are pillows and comforters in the condo. You will need pillow cases, sheets, towels and any other type of linen you may need.
Starting with the 2nd week of June and running through August is the in season. This condo rents out from Friday to Friday during the in season... with few exceptions. Feel complimentary message me with with any exceptions that you may need.

Tricks and tips to get the best Kitty Hawk vacation rental experience:
Get the most from your spending budget:
- Summertime is the most expensive season in Kitty Hawk. Reserve your rental in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Kitty Hawk vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Property managers often offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
- Find a copy of your local Kitty Hawk visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides have offers and deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Select your dates and spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration you need. Oceanfront SunSational Setting2 In heart of Duck has 1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is usually available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property management company before booking the rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly rental. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
Know before you go:
- Add the property manager's phone number to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- To make certain damages aren't attributed to your visit, note any problem areas upon your arrival. Get in touch with the host immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of concerns.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific resource to find the best local beaches.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
- Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed everything on check-out day. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your family have a fantastic stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
