“Drift" away in this adorable bungalow by the sea! Delightfully decorated with high quality and striking furnishings, this is an idyllic location for your beach vacation. And don't worry about leaving anyone behind, because Drift is dog-friendly! The outdoor area is striking with a striking private pool and hot tub, covered patio, sounds of the ocean waves, a maintained lawn, bench swing, and gas grille. The lower-level outdoor living area is ideal for all-weather use and includes a sectional with seating for 10, a 60" Intelligent TV with cable, wet bar with seating, mini-refrigerator, and dining table for 6. The completely refreshed cabana bath includes ceramic tile floor, bespoke tile and vanity, and a glass shower with dual showerheads. The pool area has ample seating, a dining table for 6, and an broad yard for games and fun. You will spend all your time there when you are not at the beach.

Inside, find a pretty, freshly painted, and updated interior with tasteful appointments. The top floor game room and gathering area has an ocean view and includes a pool table, dry bar ready to stock with ice and drinks, mini-refrigerator, and a living area with a queen sleeper sectional, new Intelligent TV that includes cable and all the apps you need for games and streaming. The upper level also includes two queen bedrooms with cable and Intelligent TVs for streaming. The upstairs bedrooms share a full hall bathroom. The mid-level features the main living area and includes a living room with Intelligent TV and cable, kitchen with granite countertops, a center island that has storage and seating, and a breakfast/game table for 4 overlooking the pool, wine/drink refrigerator, and coffee nook and a dining area with seating for 8. There is also outdoor dining available on the upper deck where you can hear sounds of the ocean. The full hall bath has been updated with tile floor, new vanity, shower, and stacked full-sized washer and dryer. The queen bedroom on this level has a Intelligent TV with cable, and the king master also has a Intelligent TV with cable for the ideal private getaway. The kitchen and all bedrooms have charging stations for your devices. Drift also has puzzles and board games available during your stay for guests of all ages.

Drift is ideally located so you can walk to the beach in just 3-4 mins., or wander to many Kitty Hawk eateries and local stores to get those steps in! If you prefer, bring along your bicycle and discover the OBX area including neighboring towns Southern Shores and Duck and the gorgeously tree-lined Highway 12. You are just a short drive to many family activities including putt-putt, movies, groceries, and more. Additional Amenity Details:
Private Pools are open from May 2, 2025 until October 12, 2025 and May 1, 2026 until October 11, 2026. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Animals are not allowed in pools under any circumstances. An additional fee will be charged to the leaseholder for the chemical balance, cleaning, or damage that would cause the replacement of a vinyl pool liner. Hot Tubs are available year-round.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a modest fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Located in Kitty Hawk, this vacation home is near the beach. Monument to a Century of Flight and Wright Brothers National Memorial are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Children at Play Museum and Paradise Fun Park. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as swimming.
