The living room flows freely past the dinette picnic-table and into the bright, entirely equipped kitchen. Bar seating at the countertop helps you share lively conversation with your travel companions as you whip up tasty, home-cooked goods.

As the sun rises, walk to the Atlantic Ocean beach. Swim, surf, lay out under the sun and walk along the coast while collecting shells and sea-glass. Surfer point break waves right outside the Kitty Hawk public beach.

Next you can take a dip in the community pool and hot tub that are open from 5/20/2024 to 10/09/2024. Dry off and appreciate a friendly game of tennis, basketball, or pickleball(set in garage), you can also head inside for a workout in the gym, or play various arcade games, including pool, ping pong and air hockey.

Return home after your adventures and drift off to sleep in one of the home's main-floor bedrooms. The guest bedroom offers a comfortable king-sized bed, while the kids room offers a twin bed plus a bunk bed with twin and full.

The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub and access to the second-floor balcony with ocean vistas. Wake up, grab a cup of coffee and head to the top-floor deck and watch the sunrise across the Atlantic!

Drive an painless 2 miles to the Kitty Hawk Coastal Reserve, where you can walk the walking paths to observe the natural wildlife, or bring your fishing equipment and catch some fresh bass!

For a historical cultural experience, take a 10-min. drive to Wright Brothers National Memorial, where you can stand at the exact take-off point for the first successful airplane flight.

When my wife April and I first saw Sea Dunes, we instantly fell in adore because they have first floor garages with great resort amenities, and are only 70 steps from the beach! There are very few properties so sizable inside with 3 bedrooms, so close to the beach, with so many resort amenities that are still so centrally located. Plus you get multiple balconies with breezy ocean vistas. The Kitty Hawk Beach here is like no other running so close to the beach road. Nearly half of the residents @ Sea Dunes are locals and the others are long term 2nd home owners. This "Sunrise Retreat" is our little gem in the Outer Banks.

About the Area

Located in Kitty Hawk, this vacation home is on the beach. Children at Play Museum and Paradise Fun Park are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Scarborough Lane Shoppes and Outer Banks Mall. Traveling with kids? Consider Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf, or check out an event or a game at Full Throttle Speedway. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
